We did it!

In 2025, Wisconsin Farm Bureau announced that they would pass a state law to ban local communities from protecting our health and property from industrial livestock developments. 

THAT LAW NEVER SAW THE LIGHT OF DAY.  WHY?  

BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOWED UP!  You attended meetings. You called your state Senators and Representatives — more than 500 times!

Because of people like you, Madison legislators did not support a law to take away local control over industrial livestock facilities producing millions of gallons of liquid waste and toxic air pollution. 

We are now developing an agenda for the 2027-28 Legislative session to increase public input and local control over rural industrial developments.
